Babingtons Blends Earl Grey Imperial Tea Bags, Have Won a Highly Commended Award, At The 2022 Great British Food Awards

 

After months of rigorous testing by their in-house experts and a final stage judged by celebrity chefs, writers, influencers and buyers we're delighted to receive this special recognition.

 

Babingtons’ version of the world’s most famous black scented tea, the Earl Grey Imperial, is an intense and citrussy, yet very well balanced, all-natural blend. A traditional, intense blend of black tea and bergamot, enriched with lemon peel and vibrant flowers.

 

When creating our Earl Grey Imperial, we wanted a bergamot tea in which the flavour of the tea wasn't overwhelmed by the scent of the other ingredients. As a base we chose a Ceylon black tea from Sri Lanka to which we then added bergamot essence, lemon peel and flower petals, to make our blend delicious and good looking!
