our top tea moments of 2023

It’s been another fantastic year of high tea celebrations with the Babington’s Blends team. Here we’ve outlined some of our top tea moments of 2023 and we look forward to seeing what 2024 will bring.

"What a year for our delicious teas! Three food awards, new launches and lots of fantastic feedback from all of you. We are super proud and looking forward to an exciting 2024, bringing our teas to the world. Because wherever you are, whoever you are with, tea is always a good idea."

Award Winning Teas

We continued to win awards for our premium blends. We entered our first ever Great Taste Awards and picked up stars for two of our premium blends, our Madame Blue Lady green tea and for our much-loved Earl Grey Imperial tea.

And not to be outdone, our Karha Chai tea also secured a silver award at the Great British Food awards too.

Retail Expansion

We started our physical retail expansion with some wonderful partners this year, including Avoca in Northern Ireland, where we’re now available in six of their stunning stores; Kilmacanogue, Rathcoole, Dunboyne, Malahide, Ballsbridge, and Monkstown.

We continued our partnerships with more nationwide online marketplaces, through securing partnerships with esteemed artisan lifestyle, food and drink partners including the Country Living platform and thefoodmarket.com.

New Gift Launches

Due to growing demand for gift items, we launched our 'Specialitea Collection' featuring four sumptuous caddie tea blends, within a stunning gift box. A truly perfect gift for tea lovers.

Press

We secured more critical accolades for our teas through our product reviews and business interview features.

Media placements included features in partnership with: Love Happens, The London Daily News, The Christmas Magazine, Italia Magazine, Country Living Magazine, The Express Newspaper, and the Great British Food Magazine to name just a few.
