Pop on your best summer dress and head down to The Berkeley for their new season of the stylishly delicious, Prêt-à-Portea.
This season they're celebrating designers from Kenzo to Moschino and Loewe's viral Anthurium dress, reimagined with Sacher sponge, espresso caramel and Valrhona 70% chocolate mousse, set on a croustillant base and topped with a chocolate flower.
The Iconic Vivienne Westwood is rightfully paid homage to, with a Madagascar vanilla biscuit portrait intricately iced, complete with her iconic red hair.
Other highlights include Hermès’ tasselled bucket bag, Moschino’s vibrant ensemble is made with tropical mousse with a banana and passion fruit centre, set on Sablé Breton biscuit and finished with a meringue flamingo.
And for the first time, Zimmermann’s playful striped co-ord is a cylinder of joconde sponge, filled with blueberry bavarois. This is topped with a chocolate skirt and wafer thin biscuit legs, akimbo. Whilst US label Thom Browne’s avant-garde look is a fraise des bois tart with strawberry crémeux, topped with a lime and mint truffle and red chocolate hat.
With all these delights, ensure you can loosen off those buttons, it's a gourmet Afternoon tea dream!
If you can’t make it to The Berkley, why not create your own Afternoon Tea at home with one of our delightful loose leaf tea blends and your favourite sweet bakes.
