Babingtons Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
To celebrate World Chocolate Day, we thought we'd share our much loved choc chip cookie recipe with you. Delicious and rich, these cookies are a must for the whole family. Made with the purest ingredients, they are simply irresistible.
They're very popular in Babington's tea room too and go down especially well with a good cuppa!
We recommend pairing chocolate chip cookies with Babingtons Karha Chai.
The spices go superbly with chocolate. Enjoy!
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
-115 gr salty butter, room temperature
-180 gr brown sugar
-3,5 gr salt
-55 gr egg
-170 g flour
-90 gr crushed walnuts
-180 gr chocolate drops
Method:
-Preheat the oven to 320°F
-Line a baking tray with oven paper
-Cream the sugar, the butter and salt in a bowl until pale and fluffy
-Add the eggs, one at a time, until you get an elastic mixture
-Add the sieved flour and the other ingredients and mix well
-Spoon out 30 gr drops of the mixture on the baking tray, making sure they are -not to close to each other
-Press lightly on each cookie to put in shape and bake for about 12 minutes
-Remove from baking tin and leave to cool on a grid
